Na última segunda-feira, 15/12, a Liga Independente das Escolas de Samba – LIESA, apresentou o “Carnaval Fan Fest”, uma arena que será montada na Praia de Copacabana, no pré-carnaval de 2026, com shows e telões transmitindo toda a programação da Rio Carnaval. A entrada será gratuita. O espaço de 5 mil m² ficará perto do Posto 03, altura da Rua República do Peru, e será aberto no dia 20 de janeiro, Feriado de São Sebastião. Segundo Gabriel David, presidente da entidade, disse na apresentação do projeto, a estrutura terá capacidade para até 15 mil pessoas, com funcionamento às sextas-feiras, sábados e domingos, além dos dias de desfiles oficiais, até o Sábado das Campeãs.
Essa inédita experiência prevê vivências como: oficinas de percussão; aulas de samba; customização de fantasias; atividades sobre comissões de frente; e, interação com carnavalescos. “Estamos quebrando as barreiras entre o público e a festa, convidando todos a não apenas assistir, mas também a sentir o Carnaval”, afirmou Gabriel. “É um projeto que nasce para ser inclusivo, inovador, e 100% carioca.”
O palco principal da iniciativa, receberá encontros entre artistas do samba e de outros gêneros. Entre os shows já apresentados no documento estão Belo com Neguinho da Beija-Flor (20/1), Pretinho da Serrinha com Marcelo D2 (24/1) e Jorge Aragão com Gilsons (14/2). Há ainda datas reservadas para apresentações de Mumuzinho, Marvvila, Alcione, Xande de Pilares e Iza. Além, é claro, de shows das atrações principais: as Escolas de Samba do Rio de Janeiro. Inclusive está prevista uma grande apresentação de 1200 ritmistas, tocando ao mesmo tempo sambas históricos, junto com ícone Neguinho da Beija-Flor, valendo um registro no Guiness Book; num momento inesquecível e imperdível.
